Our courses offer a good compromise between the continuous assessment favoured by some universities and the emphasis placed on final exams by others.


Kalanjiam Student Policy.

Kalanjiam Students need to follow the rules.

  • Students must communicate only in English inside the school campus.
  • Parents should not send cash or valuables with the children
  • The students should not wear jewellery. The school is not responsible for any loss.
  • Students should not bring any valuables, money, or objectionable material to the school.
  • Students are advised not to buy any unhealthy eatables outside the school premises.
  • Absenteeism is discouraged. In unavoidable circumstance prior permission should be obtained from the principal.
  • Students must bring the school calender and ID card to school daily. A fine of Rs. 100 will be collected for the loss of diary and Rs.50 for the loss of ID card.
  • Every student must carry a spoon, a fork, and a towel along with the lunch, snacks and water.


  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home work, disobedience, and disrespect towards members of the staff or bad moral influence justify dismissal.
  • Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school.
  • Students are expected to take good care of property of the school and refrain from writing or scribbling on the walls and desks. They shall not cause any damage to the school property.
  • Students must always adhere to Islamic dress code and behaviour during school days and celebrations.
  • Two warnings are noted in the diary and after the second warning, the parents ought to meet the Principal

Note for Parents.

  • Ensure that your ward leaves home in proper uniform.
  • Meeting that students is not permitted during school working hours.
  • Students are expected to bring with them their stacks, lunch, water, lunch towel and spoon.
  • Parents are expected to see the diary of their ward daily and sign it regularly.
  • Parents are expected to spend quality time with their children and monitor their leisure time activities.
  • Parents are expected to ensure that their wards study their lessons daily and are regular in doing their homework.
  • Parents are expected to submit the leave letters for a planned leave, well in advance.
  • Parents are expected not to buy either cell phone or bike to their children studying in school.

Warnings Notes.

  • Coming late to school.
  • Coming to school in bike.
  • Improper uniform.
  • Irregular in doing homework / assignments.
  • Fighting and injuring other students.
  • Using abusive language.
  • Damaging school property.
  • Malpractice during exminations.
  • Forging Parents / Teacher's signature, etc.
  • Teasing other students
  • Going Tripples after School hours.
  • Having an account in Social Media

Tips For Students On Propper Grooming

  • Greet the teachers with Salam.
  • Always be prepared for the class before the teacher comes.
  • Raise your hands if you need to clear doubts in between the classes.
  • Line up in two rows before moving out of the class
  • Do not skate or run on the corridors.
  • Stay disciplined as you wait for the teacher for a class.
  • Do not bring cash, electronic gadgets or costly things to school.
  • Converse only in English in school.
  • Respect school property.
  • Switch off fans and lights when not in use / when you are away from class.
  • Obey the rules of the school and make schooling pleasant and rewarding.

Parents & Teachers Meeting Time.

  • Parents must attend 'Parents Teacher Meeting' which will be conducted regularly, to discuss the performance of their child.
  • Parent's orientation programme will be conducted for bringing up the children in an Islamic Environment.
  • All queries and complaints must be directed only to the Principal on working days between 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

Transfer Certificate Details(TC).

  • Transfer Certificate will be issued only on receipt of a written application from the parent.
  • If a student wishes to withdraw at the end of the academic year, an application for Transfer Certificate should be submitted on or before 15th of February. If they fail to do so, the Term fee will be collected (i.e) 3 months' fee and special fee. This is applicable even to the students who leave the school in the middle of the year.
  • Transfer Certificate will be issued in the month of May and it will be issued only on payment of the fee arrears. Transfer Certificate should be collected only by the parent.


  • The school follows a well laid out syllabus prepared by its own board of Islamic scholars. The Islamic curriculum is based on the principles of the Glorious Quran and the Noble Sunnaah. It is spread over a period of many years. The students are prepared and on completion of the course examined by
  • the school and given a certificate in Islamic studies according to their proficiency.
  • The syllabus is broadly classified under the following heads with several subheads. They are Aqeedha, Fiqh, Hadheeth, Tilaavah, Tharjamah, Thafseer, U omul quran, Uloomul hadheeth, Seerah, Aqlaq, Hifl, Lugathul Arabia. Students are trained to read, recite and memorize the Quran.
  • The medium of instruction is judicious mix of English, Tamil, and Arabic.
  • CO-Curriculum

  • The school does not train or send the students for any external board exams. However to equip the students to face the modern world and in line with the Central Government policies as also the Ministry of Human Resource Development's Scheme of Providing Quality Education in Madarasas (SPQEM) the school has integrated NIOS syllabi and freely uses Ncert based material.
  • Hindi is also taught. Computer science with hands on training form part of the co-curriculum. Programming, DTP, Multimedia, Web-designing. 2D and 3D animations are includ in the Computer syllabus of higher grades.
  • Extra-Curriculum

  • The School has a variety of extra curricular activities. They include drawing, painting, public speaking, multimedia, language forum, quiz, spelling competition, entrepreneur skills and personality development activities, various competitions, field trips, picnics and educational tours

Fee Details.

  • Fee counter will work on all working days from 9 am to 3 pm
  • Fee for the last term should be paid before February.
  • Fee arrears if any, should be cleared before each Terminal Examination.
  • Hall tickets will be issued only to the students who have cleared their dues.
